When demanding Baja cartel boss Bighead makes his friend Mike an offer he can't refuse: "Hop in my Learjet and fly down to my hideaway resort for a meeting. . .or else," Mike develops a sketchy plan to avoid getting kidnapped while helping his novelist girlfriend get revenge on her insufferable wine snob sister and brother-in-law.
But when a cartel war breaks out in Felony Flats, the vacationers are diverted to a clandestine desert landing strip. After hitching a ride on a flatbed truck loaded with marijuana, dodging racers on the Baja 1000 course, battling it out with the Mexican Army, they arrive in time for Carnival at San Feo's Hotel Cucaracha.
